Pathway to Adulthood (P2A)

Our Signature Youth Development Model

Pathway to Adulthood (P2A) is Open Arms Community Inc.’s integrated approach to helping young people prepare for the realities of adulthood. Designed for youth and young adults who may face gaps in guidance, resources, exposure, or consistent support, P2A brings together trusted relationships, practical preparation, and coordinated opportunities around the needs and goals of each young person.

Rather than addressing education, employment, wellness, financial capability, or life skills in isolation, P2A connects these areas into one coordinated pathway—helping young people make informed decisions, strengthen their independence, and build more stable futures.

The P2A Difference

Young people’s needs rarely exist in isolation. Challenges in education can affect employment. Financial instability can influence decision-making. Limited access to trusted adults, resources, or exposure can narrow what a young person believes is possible. P2A responds by looking at the whole young person rather than addressing one challenge at a time.

Through coordinated, relationship-centered support, Open Arms helps young people identify barriers, strengthen practical skills, build trusted connections, and access opportunities aligned with their goals. The result is a more connected pathway toward adulthood—one designed to help young people become better prepared to make decisions, pursue opportunity, and build greater stability and independence over time.

No Youth Left Behind. Every Future Within Reach.

Every young person deserves more than a collection of disconnected services. They deserve a pathway, trusted people to walk alongside them, and access to the opportunities that help them move forward.

Help Build the Pathway Forward

Whether you are a young person, parent, school, employer, community organization, mentor, or supporter, there is a place for you in the Open Arms community. Together, we can expand the relationships, resources, and opportunities young people need to prepare for adulthood and pursue meaningful futures.
